In compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and in order to ensure the protection and privacy of personal data, as well as to regulate access to, correction of, deletion of, and objection to the processing of such data (Legal basis: Article 16 of the Constitution; Articles 1 and 2 of the LFPDPPP) COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C., sponsor of the educational institution INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL establishes the following: 

Privacy Notice COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C., sponsor of the educational institution INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL, located at Carretera Nacional No. 7002 in Colonia La Estanzuela, in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, ZIP code 64988, hereby informs you that your personal data and sensitive personal data will be used for identification, operations, administration, and similar purposes necessary for the provision of academic and administrative services within the Educational System of COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL. 

Requests to exercise the rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction of use, or withdrawal of consent may be submitted in writing to the school administration or via email to the address designated for this department.

 The Privacy Policy and any changes to this notice are posted in this section.

 By providing your personal information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set forth above. 

Privacy Policy 

The purpose of this policy is to ensure the privacy of the data provided by our students, former students, alumni, employees, suppliers, and the Interamerican School community in general, for the purpose of accessing the academic or administrative services provided by COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. sponsoring of the educational institution INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL.

 By using this site or any site related to the services and/or products provided by COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL, you consent to the collection, use, transfer, and storage of your personal and sensitive personal information, which means that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms set forth below. If you do not agree with them, you must NOT provide any personal information. 

Purpose of the Information 

The  COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL, which serves as the trade name of the legal entity responsible for personal data and sensitive personal data, may collect your data for its academic, administrative, and/or operational processes. This data includes, but is not limited to: name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, and gender. This data will be used for one or more of the following purposes: 

Provision of in-person academic services, Provision of distance learning services, Promotion of services related to COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. and/or INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL, Academic Management Processes, Administrative management processes,Processes for issuing credentials to students, alumni, teachers, and administrative staff, Tracking and support for students and alumni, Support and services for graduates, Hiring, evaluation, and professional development of staff, Registration of suppliers and related matters, Recording of access, attendance, and material loans, Ensuring facility security with surveillance cameras, Processes related to surveys and evaluations of services or products, Offering and promoting job openings to students, graduates, alumni, and external candidates, Sending promotional information about curricula, courses, workshops, and events, Validating and verifying academic records and their duration with accredited third parties, Compiling statistics and reports required by authorities in Mexico and abroad and/or sharing or transferring data with third parties related to the relationship between the data subject and COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL, The internal video conferencing network, provided that such use is necessary for the provision of academic and administrative services, Collecting and publishing photos in print and electronic media of academic, administrative, and special events,Validating and verifying the employment relationship with accredited third parties, Preparation of statistics and reports required by authorities in Mexico and abroad. 

The COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL adheres to the principles of confidentiality, lawfulness, consent, information, quality, purpose, fairness, proportionality, and accountability in the protection of personal data. In order for the COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL may obtain your personal data, it seeks the consent required by the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (the Law), subject to the exceptions provided for therein. 

The use of financial or asset-related data will require the express consent of the data subject, unless such use is intended to fulfill obligations arising from a legal relationship between you and the COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL, and the other exceptions referred to in Articles 10 and 37 of the Law. 

Since this involves sensitive personal data, the COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL obtains your express written consent for the processing of such data through your handwritten signature, electronic signature, or any other authentication mechanism established for this purpose. In accordance with the Law, consent will not be required for the processing of personal data when the purpose is to fulfill obligations arising from a legal relationship between the data subject and the data controller. 

Restrictions on Use and Disclosure 

Your personal data will be processed to the extent necessary, appropriate, and relevant in relation to the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy.

 The COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL complies with the principles of personal data protection established by the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and takes the necessary measures to ensure their implementation. This applies even when such data is processed by a third party, at the request of COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL, and for the purpose of providing the necessary academic or administrative services, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. 

COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL takes the necessary and sufficient measures to ensure that this Privacy Policy is respected, both by itself and by third parties with whom it has a relationship, in order to provide the services or products agreed upon with the data subject. 

Academic, administrative, and operational processes—whether conducted remotely or in person—involve, in some cases, interaction and the necessary exchange of information with the Educational System of the COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL.

Rights of Data Subjects 

Any data subject or, where applicable, their legal representative may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection, and the COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL  will provide the means to allow you to exercise your rights in a timely manner. The exercise of the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, objection, limitation of use, or revocation of consent may be requested in writing to the school administration or via the email address assigned to that department. 

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without retroactive effect. To initiate the withdrawal process, you must specify in writing or via email to the school’s email address. The request, whether in writing or electronically, for access, correction, deletion, or objection must include and be accompanied by the following: 

 

  1. The name of the data subject and their address or other means of contacting them to provide a response to their request 
  2. Documents proving the identity or, where applicable, the legal representation of the account holder,
  3. A clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which you wish to exercise any of the aforementioned rights, and
  4. Any other information or document that helps identify the personal data.
  5. In the case of requests for correction, the data subject must specify the changes to be made and provide supporting documentation for the request 

COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL will notify the data subject within twenty business days, counted from the date the request for access, correction, deletion, or objection was received, of the decision made so that, if applicable, it may be implemented within fifteen days following the date the response is communicated. In the case of requests for access to personal data, the information will be provided upon verification of the identity of the requester or legal representative, as applicable. The aforementioned timeframes may be extended once for an equal period, provided that the circumstances of the case justify such an extension. 

The obligation to provide access to information shall be deemed fulfilled when the personal data is made available to the data subject; or by issuing plain copies, electronic documents, or through any other means that the COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL provides to the data subject. 

If the data subject requests access to data from a person whom they believe to be the data controller, but that person is not in fact the data controller, it shall be sufficient to inform the data subject of this fact via any of the following means—whether in print (letter of non-responsibility) or electronic (email, optical media, etc.)—for the request to be considered fulfilled. 

The COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL may deny access to personal data, or refuse to correct, delete, or grant the right to object to the processing of such data, in the following cases: 

 

  1. When the applicant is not the data subject, or the legal representative is not duly authorized to act on their behalf; 
  2. When the applicant's personal information cannot be found in the database;
  3. When the rights of a third party are infringed;
  4. When there is a legal impediment, or a decision by a competent authority that restricts access to personal data or does not permit the correction, deletion, or objection to such data; 
  5. When the correction, deletion, or objection has already been made. 

 

The COLEGIO INTERNORTE, S.C. AND/OR INTERAMERICAN SCHOOL will limit the use of personal data and sensitive personal data at the express request of the data subject, and will not be required to delete personal data when: 

  1. relate to the parties to a private, corporate, or administrative contract and are necessary for its execution and performance; 
  2. They must be treated in accordance with the law;
  3. Obstruct judicial or administrative proceedings related to tax obligations, the investigation and prosecution of crimes, or the enforcement of administrative penalties;
  4. are necessary to protect the holder’s legally protected interests; 
  5. are necessary to carry out an action in the public interest; 
  6. are necessary to fulfill a legal obligation incurred by the data subject, or
  7. Are subject to treatment for the purpose of medical prevention, diagnosis, or the management of health services; provided that such treatment is performed by a healthcare professional bound by a duty of confidentiality.

This Institution may amend this Privacy Policy at any time, and the updated version will be available in this section. By providing your personal information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms set forth above.
